Christmas Eve Traditions

flannel pj set (similar) // slippers (similar)

Every Christmas Eve, we get to open one gift and it always used to be pajamas to wear that night! I’ve tried continuing that tradition and even given everyone matching PJ’s before!

I can’t believe next Sunday is already Christmas Eve! I still only have 2 gifts for my family and nothing’s wrapped.. But I’m looking forward to heading back home and spending time with all of our family.

On top of the pajama tradition, I’m looking forward to the Chik-fil-a chicken tray on Christmas Eve, being read The Night Before Christmas (Josh is so animated and reads it so well haha), and watching How the Grinch Stole Christmas with my brother.

What are your Christmas Eve or Day traditions?! I’d love to hear from everyone!

So great! My traditions = gathering around the giant Christmas tree near the roaring fireplace, with my dear family. Love the holiday season. Wishing you an early Merry Christmas xx

I love hearing about other people’s traditions as well because I’m so nosy. We didn’t really have any traditions for Christmas eve when I was a child because what we did was always dependant on how much last minute running around my mum had left to do. I always remember her making fresh mince pies though which is a British Christmas treat of dried fruits and spices inside a sweet pastry.
